Summary
[edit]DescriptionHouses at top of Chapel Steps, Holmfirth, Yorkshire - geograph.org.uk - 411937.jpg |
English: Houses at top of Chapel Steps, Holmfirth, Yorkshire These houses are 'upper dwellings'. This means that they are built on top of other houses (also two-storey) below. The upper dwellings have no doors on the other side, the 'under dwellings' have, obviously, no doors on this side. The photographer's greatgrandmother lived for many years in the middle 'upper dwelling'. |
