Summary
[edit]DescriptionHornsea Town railway station (site), Yorkshire (geograph 3531525).jpg |
English: Hornsea Town railway station (site), Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Opened in 1864 by the Hull & Hornsea Railway, which soon to become part of the North Eastern Railway empire, this station closed in 1964. View south west from the buffer stops towards Hornsea Bridge and Hull. A roof was attached to the building which covered the platform and nearest railway track. Like a handful of other stations in the area (Louth, Whitby West Cliff), the old station building now finds itself in the middle of a housing development. |
