Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is one of two temple ruins in Chobari village. The outer walls are intricately carved. The temple was desecrated during the Sultanate conquest. The artwork includes Shaiva, Vaishnava, Shakta and Saura themes. However, the damage to the sanctum doorway and the empty sanctum makes it difficult to identify the original dedication. Given the architecture of the sanctum and space for a statue near the wall, this may have been a Hindu goddess or Surya temple.
