English: High Spring Tide at Lunan Bay. This was one of the highest tides of the year, and the additional waves produced by a fresh breeze raised the maximum sea level even further.The boats had to be pulled well up the beach to make sure they did not get washed away. Compare with 1459674 which shows the identical view at low tide. |
