Summary
[edit]DescriptionHigh Moisture Round Bale - Pickup and Wrapping.ogv |
English: Picking up a high moisture round bale with the combination bale spear and bale rotator, tying the "cling"/stretch wrap plastic to the mesh wrap on the bale, and proceeding to wrap several layers of plastic across the sides and partially over the ends of the bale. The wrap on the ends will seal the bales together to lock out air and moisture, and keep the high moisture bale from spoiling. – This video is from the small 35 cow family dairy farm of Ken Mahalko, in Gilman, Wisconsin, USA and who is my father. In this video is my older brother Kevin Mahalko, wrapping the bale and driving the John Deere 4020 tractor.
