Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.; Een Nederlandse ambulance voor Finland. Deze hulpactie kwam tot stand nav noodsituatie waarin Finland verkeerde, die een gevolg was van de Russische inval eind september 1939. SHOTS: - F.H. Meihuizen en anderen bekijken de ambulance die bestemd is voor Finland voor het hoofdkwartier van Het Rode Kruis te Den Haag; - dames en militair controleren de medische instrumenten en stellen pakketten samen; - jongens vullen zak met metalen arm- en beenspalken en verpakken andere voorwerpen in kisten; - soldaat plaatst stempels op kist ("Niederländisches" en rood kruis); - dankwoord door de leider van de Ambulance, F.H. Meihuizen aan allen die hun hulp hebben aangeboden.
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.; A Dutch ambulance for Finland. This relief action was created in response to the emergency situation in which Finland found itself following the Russian invasion at the end of September 1939. SHOTS: - F.H. Meihuizen and others look at the ambulance destined for Finland in front of the head office of the Red Cross in The Hague; - women and a soldier check the medical instruments and make packages; - boys fill a bag with metal arm and leg splints and put other objects in boxes; - soldier puts stamps on a box ("Niederländisches" and a red cross); - word of thanks to all that offered their help by the leader of the Ambulance, F.H. Meihuizen. |
