Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Herring road One of a network of trails across the Lammermuirs once used for trade. This is reminiscent of the grease trails of British Columbia, where fish are traded for inland goods by pack horse. While some of the Herring Road is a waymarked path, here on Wedder Law it is almost lost to the heather and hard to follow.
