English: North of Holmpton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Here now, going later! The field in the photograph is close to the clay cliffs north of Holmpton on the East Riding of Yorkshire coast. In just over a hundred years' time, this scene will look radically different as the foreground will be a cliff edge! The cliffs erode at a rate of 2-3 metres per year. |
