Description
Nederlands: Groepsportret van de Dienstdoende Stadsschutterij Maastricht, kort voor de opheffing in 1907. mogelijk geportretteerd in De Kommen, het voornaamste oefenterrein. De opzet van het schilderij is van Henri Goovaerts. De uitvoering vond tussen 1912 en 1916 plaats door zijn leerlingen Henri Jonas, Guillaume Eberhard en Rob Graafland. Olieverf op doek, 150 x 200 cm. Het schilderij is eigendom van de Gemeente Maastricht, die het in 1951 in bruikleen gaf aan het Bonnefantenmuseum. Het museum gaf het in 2007 in bruikleen aan de heropgerichte Maestrichtsche Dienstdoende Stadsschutterij 1815.
