Description
English: View of Stationsstraat in Maastricht, Netherlands, during a tour by carriage as part of the 1937 Pilgrimage of the Relics (Heiligdomsvaart). The 10-day religious festival is celebrated in Maastricht every seven years and dates back to the Middle Ages. Here an ecclesiastic dignitary.(bishop Lemmens?) is being collected from the train station, probably by the dean of Maastricht.
