Deutsch: Die Antwort auf diese Frage ist in der Linken häufig umstritten. Grundlage für eine solche Diskussion muss zunächst eine Analyse der Klassenzusammensetzung in dieser Gesellschaft sein. Gilt hier nur der Kohlekumpel, die von Digitalisierung bedrohte Industriearbeiterin, oder auch der DHL-Bote am Ende einer informatisierten Logistikkette? Was ist mit der Krankenpflegerin im modernen Krankenhauskonzern? Wo lassen sich jungen, urbanen, akademisch qualifizierten, aber häufig prekarisiert Arbeitenden mit unsicheren Zukunftsaussichten einordnen? Eine Studie der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung hat Wähler*innenpotentiale in Bezug auf ihre Klassenherkunft untersucht. Wie unterscheiden sich Einschätzungen nach Geschlecht, Einkommen, Qualifikation usw.? Sind sie gewerkschaftlich aktiv? Haben sie Diskriminierungserfahrungen machen müssen oder einen Migrationshintergrund? Daraus ergibt sich ein vielfältiges Bild von Beschäftigten, die für eine Partei wie Die Linke aufgeschlossen sind. Was bedeuten diese Befunde für linke Politik heute?
