Summary

[edit]
Description

English: Usually German warbirds are always a special attraction, not because they were any better than all the other World War II aircraft, but because they are so much rarer and it's all the same at Hahnweide Vintage Air Show at Kirchheim/Teck near Stuttgart (Germany).

In 2011 the Messerschmitt Stiftung (translates as "Messerschmitt foundation") presented two of them: The Me-262 (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkljnPNZjx4&list=UUZvweSaAB_DbI-9_9r1ydsA) and the Messerschmitt Bf-109 to be seen in this video.

During World War II the Bf-109 was the standard fighter aircraft of the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) together with the Focke-Wulf Fw-190. The aircraft seen here is registered as D-FWME and flown by Klaus Plasa.
