HET UITZETTEN VAN VIS IN DE ROEIBAAN; Weekjournaal van Polygoon Hollands Nieuws van week 10 uit 1939.; Een groot aantal mannen met kisten vol karpers en forellen komt aanlopen, waarna wethoder F. van Meurs en de burgemeester van Nieuwer Amstel G.F. Haspels, de eerste vissen uitzetten in de Bosbaan te Amsterdam. Dan volgen anderen zijn voorbeeld en legen de kisten in het water.
