English: LIBI_00019_00222; This item is a card-mounted albumen photograph of a group on the front steps of the Custer home at Fort Lincoln, D.T. The sepia-toned photograph is 5 x 7" (8 x 10" in mount with oval overlay). As noted on page 125 in D. Mark Katz's book, the photograph was produced circa 1874 by Orlando Scott Goff. On the front, a handwritten notation in pencil reads, "Ft. Lincoln 1874/1 Lt. Calhoun/2 Tom/3 [illegible word]/4 Herbert Swett/5 W.C. Curtis/6 Mrs. Calhoun/7 Mrs. Curtis/8 The Misses Wadsworth of [illegible words]." On the verso, a handwritten notation in pencil reads, "Our house at Lincoln/1865."Photograph reprinted in "The Custer Album" by Lawrence A. Frost, page 141, and "Custer in Photographs" by D.
