Description
English: Caption:Group of British (some of the colonial soldiers) and French troops cheering from the top of the German A7V tank named "Elfriede", captured near Villers-Bretonneux then repaired and taken back to the rear. Near Saleux, 25 May 1918. Cf. the same photograph (L.3841) on argonnaute.parisnanterre.fr. (The author of SPCA Serie L is the French-Tunisian photographer Albert Samama-Chikli.)
