The Elfriede Tank was a German A7V Chassis number: 542. Overturned and was abandoned at Villers-Bretonneux, 24 April 1918. It was recovered from no man's land by British tanks on 15 May and handed over to French forces. Photographed at Saleux 26 May 1918. Displayed at Place de la Concorde in Paris in late 1918.
