Description

  • Quadratisch mit einer Höhe von 80 cm;

  • carrées d'une hauteur de 80 cm;
  • octogonales d'une hauteur de 125 cm.
English: View after the renovation of the boundary stone by the municipality of Baelen in 2020

Built in 1837 by the Kingdom of Prussia. It is located on the Belgian side of the border of the former "Kreis Eupen" (now municipality Eupen) and the municipality Baelen. It is one stone of two with the same number. Unfortunately, the second stone has disappeared. With the treaty of Versailles, the borderline lost her raison d'être. The stones from number 158 and 193 have two different formats:

  • quadratic with a height of 2.8 ft;
  • octagonal with a height of 4.1 ft.
