English: Greenwich Retail, LLC and Restoration Hardware's transformation of the Greenwich Post Office into a home furnishings gallery now serves as a model solution to a growing national preservation concern as the US Postal Service decommissions and sells historic buildings in significant downtown locations throughout the country. Every year, the National Trust for Historic Preservation recognizes exemplary organizations, projects and people who represent the best that preservation has to offer.
