English: Grand Union Canal - Marina under construction. Travel along the Grand Union Canal.
North: 1510056. You are Here. South: 1510070. A new marina http://canalmarinas.co.uk/grove_location.html is under construction immediately south of the Grove Lock 1510049 on the Grand Union Canal, and plans to open in Spring 2010. The area for the pontoons had been excavated, leaving a strip of land to be removed at a later stage to provide access to the canal. My estimate is that it will cater for something like 40 to 50 full length narrowboats. The site will include a facilities block with shop, toilets and showers, and the site is immediately adjacent to the Grove Lock public house and restaurant 1510056 and not far from Leighton Buzzard.
