This map shows the total area of Grand Teton National Park as we know it today minus the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Highway added in 1972 that connects Yellowstone and the Grand Teton Park.

Description
English: This map includes modern day Jackson Hole park boundaries. The original 98,000 acres was expanded with the Jackson Hole National Monument land of 221,000 acres to create one single park. To the south of the park a National Elk Refuge was added to protect the largest Elk herd in the United States. The 1950 Park boundaries include Jackson Lake.
