English: (30 seconds duration) Mather Point and the Rim Trail on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park reopened on December 17, 2010. Travelers and tour groups from around the world were visiting the park during the winter holidays. Rehabilitation of the Mather Point overlook area, included the development of mobility impaired access to the overlook, and a new railing along the entire rim area at Mather Point.
