English: Goit and St Ann's Mills, Kirkstall. Later in the year the water will be shaded by the trees, but at the start of April it is sunny. The goit originally supplied water from the River Aire to drive machinery in St Ann's Mills. Some of the older buildings remain, but the ones in this photo are modern. |
