Se puede apreciar la insolación de los grandes desiertos y zonas secas de temporada en la India. También el cinturón ecuatorial de nubes y lluvias, el cual va asociado a las nubes altas y frías de la convergencia intertropical, así como nubes monzónicas de Sudamérica y África, y nubes de mayores latitudes. Nótese el frío de los polos y la meseta tibetana.
