Description
English: Dynamic formation of an iridescent glitter on the edges of a C. lytica DSM 2040 colony after 24 h incubation on Cytophaga agar medium. The phenomenon was observed with a total duration of 50 minutes (one photo every minute). On the edges, spreading movements were well visible. Several layers seemed needed to observe the red iridescence from the glitter.
