[edit]DescriptionGay Marriage, Seattle Washington, Dec 9 2012.webm |
English: From author: This is the 2nd couple (Liam and Richard Sauer-Wooden) to exit City Hall in Seattle Washington on Sunday, Dec 9 2012, the first day that same-sex marriages were legally allowed. The city and its employees went above and beyond what was required by law by opening City Hall on Sunday, having many employees working to make this happen, having a very helpful website to answer questions (married.seattle.gov), and even setting up webcams for people to view the celebrations. I love this city... thanks, Seattle. |
