| Description |
English: Gateways above East Charleton A view from Frogmore and Sherford Footpath 55, which links green lanes above East Charleton. In between the two gates and at right angles to the view direction runs the green lane from Frogmore to Kingsbridge, a more direct route than the modern main road, if hillier, and doubtless of importance in the past. To the left of the far gate, the green lane down to East Charleton continues the lane of the footpath.
In the distance is the Kingsbridge estuary with Salcombe visible. |
