Description
Svenska: Gulhämplingen är den minsta arten inom sitt släkte och den är närmast besläktad med kanariefågeln. Det svenska beståndet är stabilt men litet, bestående av uppskattningsvis endast 80 häckande individer. Den är därför upptagen på Artdatabankens rödlista, som sårbar.
English: The serin is the smallest species in its genus and it is most closely related to the canary. The Swedish population is stable but small, consisting of an estimated only 80 breeding individuals. It is therefore included on the Species Data Bank's red list, as vulnerable.
