  • Significance: A unique example of industrial architecture, the Sand-Sorting Building contains a large pyramidal roof with multi-light gable dormers. It and the adjacent Sand Draining and Drying Building constitute the Mill "C" complex which was part of the nationally important glass-sand industry in Ottawa, Illinois.
