| Description |
English: Forbury Gardens wall The wall of the gardens fronting onto Forbury Road. There is a pattern to the brickwork, as befits Reading, but it is mainly flint construction. This wall is sometimes mistaken for the mediaeval Plummery Wall, not least on the English Heritage web site, but that listed wall was buried under the central reservation of the Forbury Road in the 1980s, and is no longer viewable. |
