| Description |
English: Footpath cut through bank in Wendover Woods Wendover Woods - Walk from Mansion Hill to The Cafe in the Woods. (6) A footpath has been constructed which runs diagonally down the slope in such a way that it has to cross the deep ditch formed by the holloway. To make it easier this flint-walled cut has been made - a totally uneconomic construction which was almost certainly something done by the Rothschilds "improving" the woodland area. |
