| Description |
English: Footpath Diverted This notice, tied to a fingerpost confirms the legal diversion of the footpath. The fingerpost is at the edge of Burngate Wood, south east of Limekiln cottage and Northwest of Claire Tower. The old path travelled from here in a north easterly direction for a distance of about 830metres. The former path is now happily growing rape. One may reflect what is the point of diverting a footpath in this situation: Lulworth estate have a good variety of permissive routes, the new path (along the park pale) would have been such a route. The diversion benefits rape farming and little else. |
