Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Fogo Foot Bridge. A restored ancient pathway and a rebuilt bridge over the Blackadder Water which was swept away by floods in the 1950s. The route links the village of Fogo to nearby villages of Gavinton and Polwarth. This ford has existed for at least 600 years and in the past it was the only crossing point over the Blackadder Water. It is an ancient Right of Way as well as being an important area of natural heritage.
