Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 2006-0027 Lithopedian , From our accession files. Lithopedian, or calcified fetus. The lithopedian was found attached to the superior surface of the bladder just anterior to the uterus. It was adherent to the bladder and no other organs. The specimen was covered with connective tissues which were highly vascular and the surgeons failed to recognize it as a lithopedian. There was no other calcification of membrane (Ref : Lithopedian 2006-0027)
