P.S. 9844 CALCIFED FETUS (known as a "Lithopedion") This highly unusual specimen remained in the abdomen of a woman for 55 years. During this time, the mother had five additional uncomplicated pregnancies, enjoying good health throughout. She knew she carried the "bones" of a dead baby. The specimen was obtained after death. Notice the RIGHT FOREARM and HAND.
