| Description |
English: Fishing pond. The path from which this photograph was taken leads from a 586031, down the valley and along the north-western banks of a series of fishing ponds (private club). Seen here is the second reached after walking down the Dumbles.
The Dumbles is the local name for a small valley. Originally the ponds provided fish to the hall and also ice for the Ice House, which is built into the dam wall forming this pond.
