Summary
[edit]DescriptionField at Kennacott Cross - geograph.org.uk - 606770.jpg |
English: Field at Kennacott Cross Taken from beside the guide post on the A388 at the junction. Some field boundaries have vanished from this field - one or two since the 1:25000 was surveyed, and possible others visible from the air. The isolated pair of trees, plus another behind them (and others to the right) are doubtless a legacy of this. The tall trees are in a pair of tiny enclosures to the left of the unnamed wood which stretches off to the right. The wood has straight rectangular borders, and must be later than the tangle of more irregular fields to the left, clustering around the invisible South Beer Farm. |
