Field Notebook: USA 1998
Description

The field notebooks of June Phillips Ross (02 May 1931 - 10 Mar 2012). Ross was a biology professor at Western Washington University (1967-2004). Prior to that she completed a BSc, PhD, DSc at the University of Sydney and did post-doctoral work at Yale University. Her work focuses on bryozoa. She was active in both the International Association of Bryozoologists and the Paleontological Society. Scientific information includes sketches and text of collection localities, collector information, stratigraphic columns, and interpretations. The June R.P. Ross Collection of Bryozoa is housed at the Yale Peabody Museum, Division of Invertebrate Paleontology
