Português: NBR NOTÍCIAS - 22.05.14: O trecho de 855 quilômetros da Ferrovia Norte-Sul que liga as cidades de Anápolis (GO) e Palmas (TO) foi inaugurado nesta quinta-feira (22). A obra foi executada pela Valec e recebeu recursos do Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento. Ao todo, a Norte-Sul vai ter mais de 4 mil quilômetros e interligará dez estados do território nacional. O trecho inaugurado hoje se interliga com o segmento de Palmas a Açailândia (MA) da Norte-Sul, com 719 km, que está em operação desde 2007. No total, são 1.574km de linha férrea desde Maranhão até Goiás. Na outra ponta, Anápolis se liga ao trecho que vai de Ouro Verde (GO) até Estrela d'Oeste (SP). O percurso de 682 quilômetros já tem 60% de execução física e previsão de conclusão para 2015. A Ferrovia Norte-Sul vai reduzir custos e integrar o interior do Brasil com o litoral, permitindo o acesso de produtores a vários portos e corredores de exportação. |
