English: Farmhouses at Sinderhope Gate The view includes Hay Rake and Newfold House. Beyond the dip containing Hollocks Burn is a minor road (off the B6295). It splits, with the branch going straight on becoming a track as it heads towards the moor; the other turns back sharply on itself, heading initially northwest and eventually to Allendale. On the horizon (left) is the plantation at the top of Green Hill NY8553. |
