English: Tomographic stacks and rendering. A series of slices generated from EM tomography are shown as a movie progressing through the structure. The opening frame shows a cross-section of the double-membrane body (which also contains a vesicle) entering the nucleus at an atypical nuclear pore, with the cytoplasm at the top. The movie first shows the stack progressing through the cross-section. The movie then shows a perpendicular stack showing the pore at the neck of the structure end-on, followed by the rotation of the 3D rendering. The internal vesicle was removed from the rendering for clarity. |
