Synopsis:

A silent animated film about a trip by airship to the North Pole. The passengers play games with a seal and a polar bear. The airship “Gum Drop” departs from Reno, headed towards the North Pole. We see America from the air, accompanied by all manner of signs, with texts including Mrs. Murphy and Blonde Eskimo. We see the captain heading off to catch seals, while another man finds a poster featuring “Doc Cook”, and fights with a polar bear. On the way back, the Gum Drop encounters the welcoming committee.

Samenvatting:

Stille tekenfilm over een reis met een luchtschip naar de Noordpool. De reizigers spelen spelletjes met een rob en een ijsbeer. De luchtballon "Gum Drop" vertrekt uit Reno naar de Noordpool. Amerika wordt bezien vanuit de lucht vergezeld van allerlei bordjes met teksten waaronder: Mrs. Murphy, Blonde Eskimo. De kapitein gaat op robbenvangst, een andere man vindt een poster met "Doc Cook" en heeft gevechten met een ijsbeer. Op de terugweg stort de Gum Drop neer op het welkomstcomitee.
