English: This is an original pen and ink drawing from 1892, prior to the railroad's construction reaching this location. It is both a survey of the terrain and a plan for the railroad construction to come. It is not what was actually built. It is likely that this was drawn under the supervision of John Q. Barlow who was contracted by the railroad to survey the route. |
