| Description |
English: Espresso and gelateria and burger van near the Roman Wall. In this layby on the A68 was an excellent refreshment van. On one of the main roads from England to Scotland it was mainly serving breakfasts, burgers and hot drinks. But it was "The Mobile Italian Ice Cream Parlour" and looked as if it was more organised for fairground and seaside sites. It served very good coffee and a good line in repartee. The Stagshaw radio mast at NY986709 is also visible - see 258597. |
