Summary
[edit]DescriptionErratic boulder at the sea edge - geograph.org.uk - 1462303.jpg |
English: Erratic boulder at the sea edge A large erratic boulder of Lewisian gneiss perched on Torridon sandstone above the high tide mark near Clachtoll. It's unlikely that the boulder was moved a great distance by ice as the junction of gneiss and sandstone is only a few hundred metres to the east. |
