Description
English: An engulfment cleft is formed in the highly vacuolized astrocyte (yellow A) in which the debris is ingested (red arrowhead). The healthy neuron (green star) blebs and dies upon cell body contact with a dead cell close, but not engulfed, by the astrocyte (yellow A). Scale bar = 20 µm.
