English: This movie is an illustration of the clinical signs in intrasheath peroneal tendon subluxation. Clinical examination shows localized tenderness behind the lateral malleolus. Contraction of the peroneal tendons causes a snapping movement. This snapping movement causes a reproducible painful audible click. The tendons were found to switch their relative positions at the level just posterior to the tip of the lateral malleolus. This is visual during clinical examination. |
