  • Significance: This garden apartment building is an important example of the work of Mihran Mesrobian, whose architectural practice was based in Washington, DC, beginning in the 1920s. Calvert Manor is representative of his later work, particularly that done in the Virginia suburbs, and features elements of the moderne style.
