English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Because of the decrease in the storks population in the Netherlands, the Dutch Association for the Protection of Birds has made a storks reserve in the polder near Groot-Ammers in the Alblasserwaard. The pinioned birds were purchased abroad. After they've been ringed, they are released. With nests on 1.5m high poles. Also footage of empty storks nests near farms. With archive footage of storks in nests on chimneys and on poles.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Vanwege de terugloop van het aantal ooievaars in Nederland is in een polder te Groot-Ammers in de Alblasserwaard een ooievaarsreservaat ingericht door de Nederlandse Vereniging tot Bescherming van Vogels. De in het buitenland gekochte gekortwiekte ooievaars worden geringd en losgelaten. Met 1,5m hoge paalnesten. Verder beelden van lege ooievaarsnesten bij boerderijen. Met archiefmateriaal van ooivaars op nesten op schoorstenen en palen. |
