Summary

[edit]
Description
English: East Ham tube station former platforms on the mainline London, Tilbury & Southend line (now operated by c2c), looking west. These closed in the 1960s, with mainline trains passing through non-stop. Also the tracks were rearranged when East Ham Depot, just east of here was transferred from the Underground to British Rail. This resulted in the mainline westbound platform being demolished, and the westbound track being diverted such that it is now the southern-most track, behind the second wall visible here. The other tracks in between eastbound and westbound lead to the depot.
