Description
English: arʉaweka--Today's lesson: telling a group of people "Don't talk!"

Here we have the late Dr. Reaves Nahwooks saying "Don't talk." two times. This is from a video of conversational phrases the Comanche Language and Cultural Preservation Committee produced. We thank them for all of their hard work over the years to get us on this road. Ketaka niwʉnʉrʉ (Don't talk) This is how you woud say "Don't talk" to a group of three or more people. Keta- (don't) -ka (plural command stem) niwʉnʉ- (plural verb stem-talk) -rʉ (generic verb ending used for plural commands) Listen carefully to the speakers and then... Listen, repeat, and practice! #LRP

And remember the only way to do language wrong is to not do it at all!
